How a Fabrication Warranty claim works

Process preview. Fabrication Warranty coverage activates once attorney review of the warranty terms is complete (see the founding list at /sanction-shield). This page shows exactly how a claim will work and lets founding-list members test-run their documentation now. Claims submitted before coverage activates are recorded so we have a real record on file, but are not payable until coverage is live.

Every claim needs the same five things listed in the warranty terms: an active subscription on the filing date, the VERIFIED verification receipt, the filed brief, documentation showing the citation is in fact fabricated, and a claim filed within 90 days of discovering the fabrication. A court sanction order is not required — if one exists, add it below as supporting evidence, but fabrication itself is what triggers payment. Fill in what you have below.

The ID shown on the Citation Safe report that returned VERIFIED for this citation.

Not required to file a claim. If a court sanction or show-cause order exists, a PACER/court-site link or written description here is strong supporting evidence of fabrication.
