What’s covered
- The citation must have been checked through Citation Safe and marked VERIFIED.
- You must have a documented brief and a verification receipt for that citation.
- The sanction must be for an AI-hallucinated citation — the fake authority itself, not an unrelated filing error.
What’s not covered
- Citations marked UNCONFIRMED or NOT_FOUND — the whole point of those verdicts is that we told you we couldn’t confirm them.
- Citations you never ran through Citation Safe, or ran after the sanctioned filing.
