The Fabrication Warranty is a warranty, not an insurance policy — no state insurance license, no claims adjuster, no fine print you need a broker to translate. If a citation Citation Safe marked VERIFIED turns out to be fabricated — the cited case or authority does not exist — Digital Empire Holdings LLC pays you up to $2,000. The trigger is our mistake, not a court’s ruling: you do not need to have been sanctioned to file a claim.
What’s covered
- The citation must have been checked through Citation Safe and marked VERIFIED.
- You must have a documented brief and a verification receipt for that citation.
- The citation must in fact be fabricated — the cited case or authority does not exist — confirmed on our review of your documentation.
What’s not covered
- Citations marked UNCONFIRMED or NOT_FOUND — the whole point of those verdicts is that we told you we couldn’t confirm them.
- Citations you never ran through Citation Safe, or ran after the affected filing.

What's not covered?
Citations marked UNCONFIRMED or NOT_FOUND are not covered — those verdicts already tell you we couldn't confirm them. Citations never run through Citation Safe, or run after the sanctioned filing, are also not covered.
Do I need to have been sanctioned by a court to file a claim?
No. The trigger is our own mistake — a citation we marked VERIFIED that is in fact fabricated — not whether a court has ruled on it. If a court sanction or show-cause order already exists, it's strong supporting evidence and you're welcome to include it, but it is not required.
How do I file a claim?
See the claim process at /sanction-shield/claim — it walks through exactly what a real claim needs (your VERIFIED verification receipt and documentation showing the citation is fabricated; a sanction order, if one exists, is helpful supporting evidence but not required) and lets founding-list members test-run their documentation before coverage goes live.
